Activity Completed: We were emailed our Assignment. It explained what the assignment task consisted of, and a criteria to follow to assist us in achieving the highest possible marks.
Date: 11/02/15
Activity completed: Viewed the email and thought about what experiment I wanted to conduct. Ideas; baking cookies with the sun, melting chocolate with the sun, making crystals, growing plants with/without salt.
Date: 12/02/15
Activity completed: I came to a conclusion on what experiment I wanted to conduct and began researching about it > I completed Part A of the assignment.

Activity completed: Handed in Part A

Activity completed: Began to create my weebly. I played around with some themes to get a better understanding of how to use weebly as I have never used it before.

Activity completed: In order to investigate which model is better, I designed 3 solar ovens, all of which had different shapes and methods of conducting heat. The cone shaped oven traps in more heat as the light reflects off the curved surfaces, the Rectangular like oven uses insulation to trap the heat, and the trapezium like oven reflects sunlight directly onto the piece of chocolate.

Activity completed: I conducted my experiment and recorded all my results. After conducting my experiment I proved that my hypothesis was false and that the trapezium like oven proved to reach a higher temperature compared to the cone like oven. I then entered all my results into my weebly page and completed all other necessary parts of the Assignment.
